Brief CV
Assistant Professor, Xiamen University (2018-)
Ph.D., University of Alberta, Canada (2017)

Research Interests
My research interests focus on carbonate sedimentology, and diagenetic alternation in carbonate rock in a range of marine and terrestrial settings. My research combines fieldwork with petrographic and geochemical studies. Recently I am especially interested in dolomite/dolostone and understanding their origin and evolution. I have broad and continuing interests in marine biogenetic sediment, water-rock interaction and application of geology to hydrocarbon exploration.
